Tucker Stilley (AKA NewJack Rasputin) is to be honored as one of six recipients of Massachusetts' College of Art's 2010 Alumni Awards for Distinguished Achievement.

If you're in the Boston area, please join fellow AHOB Member - Nita Sturiale - as she presents the award to Tucker at a reception from 6–9 pm in the Pozen Center for Interrelated Media and the Godine Family Gallery.

Selected by a jury of faculty, administrators, and members of the Alumni Leadership Council, this year's other recipients are: Laura Brown (Sculpture '93) and Rick Brown, Beverly Hallam (Art Education '45), Dave Schlafman (SIM and Animation '04), and Sandy Weisman (MSAE '96).

"So, about this image: besides whatever else you see in it, it's meta-art - an artifact - a map of my head movements on the screen over some amount of time.

The circles and dots are where my cursor paused, the bigger the black spot, the longer the pause.

The movements are my natural routine - eating, coughing, typing, research, painting, editing, programing music, watching movies and the biggest black spots of all - sleep.

I could in fact do file traceback and find out what other project was the seed for this image. hand-picked for you - one-off prints - one of a kind".
